Maternity in UG
The purpose of this additional maternity policy is to ensure the well-being of our employees during pregnancy and the postpartum period. The company recognizes the importance of supporting female employees in reconciling professional and family needs, and offers additional benefits over and above what is required by law.
In accordance with Law No. 151/2001, every female worker is entitled to a 5-month maternity leave (2 months before the expected date of delivery and 3 months after). During this period, the female worker is entitled to pay equal to 80% of the average daily wage, raised to 100% by our CCNL Commerce.
The company complies with these provisions and supplements them with the following facilities:

Maternity Angel : which allows all employees about to become mothers to stay up-to-date on business trends, organizational developments and ongoing changes taking place within the company, through a process of periodic follow-ups with the identified colleague(s). (At the request of the employee on maternity leave or through a link that the employee can then consult when she prefers)

3-4 Sessions with psychologist/psychotherapist to begin to take place before the end of the period of abstention from work, so as to support at the most critical time when one begins to think about the return to work and how to organize, considering all the variables of the newborn and the psychophysical state of the mother.

Equivalent of the value of food vouchers (if) due for 5 months in premium or vouchers (880€ every day for 5 months - 22weeks)
Procedure for requesting maternity leave.
The employee must submit the request for maternity leave at least 3 months before the expected date of delivery. Required documentation includes medical certificate attesting to pregnancy and stating the expected date of delivery.
