Whistleblowing policy

In alignment with the Italian legislative framework established by Legislative Decree 10 March 2023, No. 24, which incorporates EU Directive 2019/1937 on the protection of individuals reporting breaches of Union law (commonly known as whistleblowing regulations), we have introduced a Whistleblowing Policy at UNGUESS.

In summary, the key objectives of the policy are as follows:

• To provide a clear guide on the reporting process.
• To explain how to report an irregularity.
• To define the types of reports that can be submitted.
• To outline any legal protections or restrictions.

Scope of Application:

The policy covers reporting on various violations, including relevant unlawful conduct, EU or national law violations and allows reporting by a broad range of individuals (including employees, freelancers, consultants, suppliers, volunteers, shareholders, and those in administrative roles) using an internal reporting channel: https://unguess.factorial.it/complaints

The Reporting Channel:

The Reporting Channel ensures the confidentiality of the identity of the complainant and ease of use.

Whistleblowers should provide detailed information to facilitate the review, including a clear description of the incident, relevant time and place details, and any supporting documents. The process involves receiving the report, preliminary analysis, investigations, a report on findings, and final conclusions.

Please note that the policy guarantees confidentiality and prohibits retaliation against whistleblowers and the management of personal data complies with GDPR and Privacy Code provisions.
