Sprint w46-47​

🎯 The goal of the sprint was:

Sprint w44-45​

⚠️ AFC team highlighted a critical problem in the payment tool we use to send money to testers, that section is deprecated and not updated for years. We need to deepen the problem and understand how expensive and complex is the fixing/rewritng of the section.

⚠️ 70% of the Dev Team isn't available this Sprint for different reasons, the sprint goal is at risk.

Sprint w42-43​

🎯 The goal of the sprint was:

  • [MAIN] Release the new Profile Page
  • 🐛 Clean the bugs in backlog and find a Defect Trend, that we can use as metric in our team performance
  • 🗣️ Refactoring of custom user fields
  • Secondary updates needed with the new language (Spanish)

⚠️ Profile Page won't be released in this sprint, many technicals problems occured.

✅ The achievements we got:

  • We have 56 verified and confirmed bugs in backlog and now we can start tracking the Defect Trend, that we can use as metric in our team performance

Sprint w40-41​

🎯 The goal of the sprint was:

  • Make the Crowd Team payment process easier and bring coherency in the DB data
  • Complete remaining tasks for Spanish support
  • [Stretch Goal: Release spanish on prod]
  • Continue with the rewrite of the Profile Page

⚠️ Rewriting Profile Page is taking more time than expected, after this sprint we'll need to have a look on the Roadmap to understand if we need to review some choices to bring the best value we can.

✅ The achievements we got:

  • New feature in "Prospect" named "Pay the Assistants" that allow us to pay the Crowd Team in a specific and data detailed process
  • New language "Spanish" released on the platform (https://crowd.app-quality.com/es/my-dashboard/)
  • 12% of Profile Page Completed (44% completed)

Sprint w38-39​

🎯 The goal of the sprint was:

  • Start developing new Profile Page
  • Improve Tester Selection
  • Improve User's Feedback flow
  • Activate Continuous Deployment process for developement

✅ The achievements we got:

  • 32% of Profile Page Completed
  • Tester Selection Improved
  • Feedback flow Improved using a floating button and embeding Jotform
  • First Steps completed in reaching Continuos Deployment: Consistency across environments (test/staging/production) 👍 Automatically generate builds from our codebase 👍 Deployment time down by 98% (From 1.5 hrs to 1.5 minute) 👍

⚠️ Release has been postponed because a critical bug in the integration center related to a Customer Team Task, CUP is 100% focused on Iterspace Project and this is endangering the good working of the Dev Teams and the Platform itself.

🐛 We improved the skills of the QA team (Crowd Based) with a training on the API Testing (using POSTMAN).

📈 Some updates from previous activites monitoring:

  • after dashboard and devices releases, no bugs/problems was reported from the crowd
  • Referral link update (Sprint w34-35) is showing good results in improving the conversion rate of the acquisition process

Sprint w36-37​

🎯 The goal of the sprint was:

  • rilasciare la nuova pagina dei devices
  • ripulire la parte di DB dedicata ai devices ed evitare che in futuro i nuovi inserimenti possano causare problemi.

✅ The achievements we got:

  • Rilasciare nuova schermata Devices su stack React
  • Verifica dati DB su Devices nei profili utenti: - Trovati circa 5k tester con devices sbagliati (valori nulli/inaccettabili/non ricollegabili/ecc) - Per 2k di questi abbiamo corretto noi i loro dati - 3k saranno contattati per aggiornare i loro devices
  • Pulizia dati Devices nel DB - I dispositivi non conformi o incoerenti sono stati disabilitati - I dispositivi coerenti ma in stato inconsistente sono stati recuperati - Le nuove select garantiscono che i valori dei devices selezionabili siano solo quelli predefiniti: nelle selezioni e nelle visualizzazioni bug del cliente non saranno più presenti dati inaspettati

💾 This Sprint was the first one with a Data Team member directly involved.

🐛 This Sprint was the first one with a dedicated Tester Team directly involved in the pre and post release testing activities to support the QA Team. This is the first step of a process to strongly improve the capability of QA Team (next steps: involve testers also in the previous phases: design/staging). Results:

  • 2 activated tester from the crowd
  • 3 testing session: 2 before and 1 after the release
  • 6 bug founded: 5 fixed, 1 pending

Burndown w36-37 The Sprint Goal carried a significant load of Story Points (it was challenging), despite some uncertainty/fear during the sprint we reached it in the final part of the sprint.

Sprint w34-35​

🎯 The goal of the sprint was:

  • Definitely release the new DASHBOARD

✅ The achievements we got:

  • Released the new Dashboard on the new stack
  • Search added in mail merge templates page
  • Fix bugs (including IntegrationCenter)
  • FAQ added in the crowd sidebar
  • POEditor activated (necessary to turn on Spanish on the platform)
  • The coverage of the Referral link has been extended to the homepage

ℹ️ This was the first Sprint with the new Team Setup (PO, SM, Dev Team) focused on the Crowd Platform.
